Cocoa-Balsamic Berry Flatbread Dessert aka Chocolate Pizza

Ingredients (Serves 4)

  • 1 store-bought flatbread or naan

  • 4 oz mascarpone or ricotta

  • 1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)

  • 2 tbsp Oliva di Vita Chocolate Dark Balsamic Vinegar

  • 1 tbsp honey or maple syrup (optional)

  • 1 oz shaved dark chocolate

  • Fresh mint (optional garnish)

Directions

  1. Warm the base: Toast flatbread at 375°F (190°C) for ~5 minutes until lightly crisp.

  2. Spread the creamy layer: Add mascarpone or ricotta evenly while still warm.

  3. Top generously: Scatter berries and shaved chocolate over the flatbread.

  4. Finish with flair: Drizzle chocolate balsamic (and honey if desired).

  5. Garnish with mint, slice, and serve immediately.
